| Hi, i just joined. I was wondering what it is like playing on the quad line for Purdue. My sister is a senior there and is always talking about the drumline. I'm on my highschool drumline and trying out for the quads next year. So i was also wondering if you could give me some tips on the quads or practicce or anything.

The tenor line here at purdue is very relaxed. We love to have a good time and just kind of goof off. Don't get me wrong though, there is work involved. We are consistently the cleanest part of the line. We have an AMAZING section leader, Matt Bowers. He has marched at several top drum corps and is one of the greatest guys in the world. We try to make everything we do fun. Practice, a game, tuning drums; it doesn't matter. Game days are pretty long and grueling but well worth every minute of it.
It's great to hear from another prospective member. Feel free to send me an e-mail if you would like a more info on anything.
Peace out!
